Offering true zero-pressure, zero-contact accumulation (Dynamic braking), Hilmot's Series 5000MDR 24volt DC conveyor is designed to carry work-piece pallets that ride on twin strands of transport timing belts is available in straight, turntable, shuttle car and right-angle transfer modules.

Hilmot's Series 5000 MDR is primarily used for light to medium duty assembly applications. Our standard Series 5000 product line is highly versatile, easily configured, pre-wired conveyor sections driven by motorized rollers. Hilmot's MDR is pre-engineered to meet specific performance requirements. Programmable DeviceNet™ controller enables modular wiring and eliminates more than 20 electrical connections per 10 ft section, while aesthetically designed side frame cover encases wiring and controls. Our system runs only when product is being conveyed.

Hilmot's Series 5000 MDR is quiet, safe, requires low-to-no maintenance and non-contact zero pressure accumulation. Hilmot's Series 5000 MDR only runs on demand to advance product, thereby reducing energy consumption and overall noise generation as well as extending the functional life of the conveyor.

Hilmot's Series 5000 MDR consumes approximately 25-30% of what a comparable 460 Volt 3 Phase conventional conveyor system consumes, considering the same product specifications and throughputs.

The Hilmot Series 5000 MDR operates extremely quiet when compared to conventional conveyor. One reason for noise reduction, as compared with conventional conveyor, the conventional conveyor typically operates constantly regardless of demand. Hilmot's Series 5000 MDR products will only operate on demand during peek operation and during low peek operation the system typically is not running due to the inherent run-on-.

Hilmot's Series 5000 is designed using 24volt DC roller technology, Controlled sliding friction propels the pallets along until encountering a stop gate or another pallet. Pallets(s) can slide on the low back pressure transport media and accumulate to provide non-synchronous cycle operation.

Hilmot Series 5000 conveyors can be configured into cycle independent spur lines or work loops to balance line flow and ensure even throughput. Pallets are sized optimally for the work and its weight. Pallet size determines the rail spacing. Typically, pallets are precision machined with accurate locator bushings which allow positioners to hold pallets within +/-0.02mm for automated processes.

Advantages of our 24-volt MDR conveyor
