Offering true zero-pressure, zero-contact accumulation (Dynamic braking), Hilmot's Series 3000 Chain Driven Motorized Drive Roller 24 V Conveyor is available in straight, curve, turntable, right-angle transfer modules. Programmable DeviceNet™ controller enables modular wiring and eliminates more than 20 electrical connections per 10 ft section, while aesthetically designed side frame cover encases wiring and controls.
Our system runs only when product is being conveyed. Hilmot's Series 3000 MDR is primarily used for pallet handling applications as well as progressive assembly operations. Our standard Series 3000 product line is highly versatile, easily configured, pre-wired conveyor sections driven by motorized rollers. Hilmot's MDR is pre-engineered to meet specific performance requirements, with many standard accessories available, such as transfer cars, turntables, transfers, curves etc.
The Hilmot Series 3000 MDR conveyors have been operational in distribution centers and manufacturing facilities across the United States. Our customers are extremely satisfied with Hilmot's service and overall operation of the systems. There's documented evidence that these systems have significantly saved companies money in energy consumption and maintenance.
Hilmot's Series 3000 MDR is quiet, safe, requires low-to-no maintenance and non-contact zero pressure accumulation. Hilmot's Series 3000 MDR only runs on demand to advance product, thereby reducing energy consumption and overall noise generation as well as extending the functional life of the conveyor.
Hilmot's Series 3000 MDR consumes approximately 25-30% of what a comparable 460 Volt 3 Phase conventional conveyor system consumes, considering the same product specifications and throughputs. Hilmot's Series 3000 MDR is recognized by energy providers as an energy efficient alternative to conventional conveyor products such as Chain Driven live roller and BDLR. In most cases energy providers offer shared savings programs that help assist companies in the investment of new energy efficient MDR equipment. Ask our sales representative to assist you in researching available programs in your area.
The Hilmot Series 3000 MDR operates extremely quiet when compared to conventional conveyor. One reason for noise reduction, as compared with conventional conveyor, the conventional conveyor typically operates constantly regardless of demand. Hilmot's Series 3000 MDR products will only operate on demand during peek operation and during low peek operation the system typically is not running due to the inherent run-on-demand feature of MDR, there is no sound generated when the zones are in accumulation mode, or when product is not present.

Key Benefits
- Pre-wired, pre-mounted electrical components provide easy and economical installation
- Few moving parts reduce both maintenance cost and noise
- Low profile minimizes space requirements
- Each zone powered and controlled independently for maximum control capabilities
- Run-on-demand software selectively deactivates zones not carrying product, reducing noise, energy usage, and component wear
Why Hilmot Series 3000 MDR?
There are several advantages to choosing products from our standard line of components including:
- Safety. Hilmot MDR conveyor operates at a low voltage, allows the operator to work in an environment with no major pinch points and is measured in tangential force instead of belt or chain pull.
- Low Maintenance. Because Hilmot MDR conveyor doesn't require the change-out of motors, gearboxes and belts, it is virtually maintenance free. If your system does require maintenance, we stock critical spare parts at our warehouse and can provide same-day shipment. Our highly trained field technicians are also available to provide rapid, on-site support.
- Easy Installation. Hilmot MDR modular design allows for ease of initial installation and future modifications or layout changes.
- Quiet Operation. Hilmot MDR conveyor operates at a 65-70 dba noise level, significantly lower than standard conveyor operating systems.
- Cost Savings. Because Hilmot MDR conveyor only runs when the photo eye senses that a product is present, estimated cost savings range from 30-70% of conventional conveyors that operate continuously. And, due to increased throughput, Hilmot MDR conveyor has been shown to reduce the need for overtime, overall cycle time, inspection and rework.
