The application of Hilmot MDR breaks down into two areas, complete systems, and the application of specific Hilmot MDR modules within a system which may be based on line-shaft or some other conveyor technology.

Hilmot has already designed a list of system modules available. These modules may be configured into a customized conveying system with almost any level of control sophistication. In addition to straight bed sections for transportation or zoned accumulation, Hilmot offers curves in 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°, spurs in 30° or 45°, 2:1 merge (herringbone), various arrangements of UBT transfers, tri-directional and bi-directional switches, three designs of product stops, inclines and declines, gates, minimum radius curve, and anti-rollback brakes (inclining).

There are many options, especially in controls, but also including roller centers, bearings, roller coatings, etc. Other than complete systems, Hilmot MDR modules may also be used to solve application-specific requirements within a conveyor system in a cost-effective manner.
